2010 Mercedes Benz E550 Coupe
Question Stuck in Sports Mode! Can't Find Part 2049011100

Car is stuck in sport suspension, Saw that there was another similar posting, the iCarsoft is posting an error with the level sensor and giving me the part number 2049011100, its a 2010 Benz E550 Coupe. I have included an image as well. any help will be greatly appreciated.

2012 E350 Cabriolet now SOLD to my son
Replace the sensors with new ones..they are cheap. Get them from MB...they are fragile and tend to break easily.

Behind each of the front wheels is the suspension sensor arms.
They are a ball and socket "joint".
If the ball pops out of the socket the sensor shows the suspension is off and will throw the car into permanent sports mode.

I had this issue, and seating the ball back into the socket was the fix!

This pic gives you an idea where to look.

This is a closer pic of the ball and socket. I wrapped a piece of teflon tape on the ball to make it more snug. Sprayed a bit of lube on the socket to reduce friction.

Cranking the wheel to one side provided enough room to access.
