2010 E550. My reverse camera has begun to flicker. Initially I thought it might be because it was in direct sun or something, but it also seems to do it in the shade.

Any ideas what the issue might be and how to fix it?

Sounds like it could be a wiring problem — loose wire, bad connection, etc.

Anything electrical problem wise coming from the back especially on the trunk lid might be coming from broken wires on where the right hinge arm is. Open the taping there and check. If you see wires starting to break-off better fix it pronto and reinforce it. That area is notorious for the wires to break because of the constant movement the wires are exposed too.
