Got at auction C207 no crank no start
We bypassed the steering wheel lock and put it in an emulator he tried to jump it to get the key you know make sure that everything was working Cause the battery was obviously dead anyways wouldn't start Towed it home. Tried charging the battery but as soon as I put it in something just drained it like a parasitic draw or something I'm not really sure.
So I got a new battery. the key unlocks the doors and when you put it in it says please remove key and when you put it in position two & try to crank it says key initializing please wait but it will not crank and it will not start. I can get it to crank by touching the relay. There is also no ground signal going to the starter relay from the ECM.
It won't start in neutral either because I thought maybe it might be the neutral safety switch but that's not it. I do not think it's the starter personally but I happen to have ordered one anyways before looking I to these other stuff which I'll be putting in later tonight either way.
But this was the last of the money I had and I ended up paying 1700 at the auction and another 350 for the key and the 200 for the towing and I am at my max limit so I cannot take it to get professionally scanned at the Mercedes place and all this other stuff I just need to use what I have.
I have an OBD2 scanner I wish I had access to the Carly app so I could get exact Mercedes codes that I'm not getting from regular software but I don't have the $80 for that right now. So I get basic codes etc if you could please help me figure out why my car is not starting Because this car is gonna be the only thing that keeps me from either being on the streets or at least being able to live in my car soon so if you could steer me in the right direction on what it could possibly be.
I know might be something with the ECM I know it might be something you know with the ground or what not. If you want anymore information just ask and I'll do my best to answer! Thank you!

A real MB key will cost you ~$400 USD, but you can shop around. Good luck.
