The seller on Amazon says no, but others here have suggested that they will.
Well I have ordered those same ones only from eBay they say they are for the 278 but then later it lists the 276. So we shall find out.

2012 E350 Cabriolet now SOLD to my son
Please post up when they get in and then how well they fit. If you can post the ebay link up and how much they cost, that would be great for the others on the fence in this thread. The community would be grateful !!!

well I got an 8 piece set of pigtails on eBay for $25 and they fit! It says they for the 4.7 V8 but they still fit on my V6. Look em up on eBay 4 pieces 2 pin and 4 pieces 3 pin. I hooked up all the 2 pins and 2 of the 3 pins but I have no idea where the other two 3 pins go. I did not change out the leaking camshaft solenoids just put the pigtails on. How long does it usually take for the oil to get through the pigtails? Anyway, the engine seems to be running a lot smoother though that’s probably just in my head 😁here’s the page:

just be carful you hook them up right. Look for the little groove on the inside of one and the slot on the inside of the other.

Which pin configuration (2 pin or 3 pin) connects to the cam adjuster solenoids, and which connects to the cam position sensors?

Thanks! Do I understand correctly that you were unable to access two of the four cam position sensors?

A few months ago, before I took my car in for an oil change, I disconnected the three visible cam adjuster solenoids and found no trace of oil. The fourth one (on the left side when standing in front of the car) was behind a coolant reservoir, and all of the cam position sensors were somewhat inaccessible. I had the specialty shop that does my scheduled maintenance check all eight connections while they had the car, and they found no oil in any of them. That was a relief, but I'd still like to have all eight of the pigtails installed. Thanks for reporting back here; the info you've provided is very helpful!

you’re welcome! Easy to do yourself if you’re used to that kind of thing. The hardest part is getting the old connectors off.

Disconnecting only the three accessible solenoids was indeed a struggle, and I was terrified of breaking them the whole time. I may just buy the set you noted on eBay and ask my shop to install them when I bring the car in for its next scheduled maintenance.

I did end up breaking some of the plastic on the connectors while taking them off but they are still useable. But hey, if I had insurance coverage I’d let the shop do it as well!

Did you remove the air ducts on both sides? The position sensor must be at the top of the VVT, The two intake are obvious, the exhaust ones are a bit toward the air ducts
