Manual mode vs sport mode throttle response
I just noticed that sport mode is more aggressive on the throttle vs on manual mode. I tried pressing sport mode while on manual mode and I don't get the same touchy pedal. Anyway you can get both? I like to have the pedal feel of the sport mode but can manually go up a gear or two which I cannot do on sport mode. On sport mode I can manually shift down but if I don't want the gears to stay low I cant manually shift up beyond what the computer is coded for. This is same on my other benz but not on the GLE which even in sport mode or sport+ I can shift up if I want.

on mine S and M follows the same throttle map. In E it skips 1st gear, so it starts in 2nd, and the throttle is soggy. I cant speak for other models but other people describe the same basic story
