I managed to bust off my driver side mirror and most of the rest yesterday.
Mercedes wants to charge me 3k for a new one. No thank you.
I see a ton of them being sold on ebay and other car part sites. The nice part man from MB said I would be fine buying one of those. He advised me to make sure it's one from a coupe or a convertible. The issue seems to be that all the ones being sold online are for sedans. Does anyone have any advice on where to purchase a compatible one? Would one from a sedan not even be able to be screwed in? I honestly don't even care if the lane assist/dimmed glass works. Just need something on there ASAP before I hit something else.....

I would msg an ebay junkyard seller that has benz parts for what will fit. plus I believe they have a data base for any other junkyard that would have it

Search for “w207 drivers side mirror assembly”. The w207 means body style coupe/convertible. W means either. If it is C207 that is Coupe. If it is A207 that is convertible. For the mirror there should be only one type for either so using W207 can be used to search on eBay or other parts selling website.
