Pre facelift C207 H7 Halogen to LED replacement
I did a search of the threads on the various forums and I can’t find an answer for this question. So here goes…
I have a 2013 pre facelift C207 (E350) and I have a burnt out H7 low bean bulb so I am taking the opportunity to move to LED bulbs for both low and high beams.
Amazon has a bunch of plug and play H7 LEDs that claim to work on the E350. They plug into the OEM base and twist into the headlights housing. But they only play without issues on the high beams. The low beams have poor light output and give check light (canbus) error messages.
I have tried Auxito and Fahrenheit brands and both give error messages and have poor light output on the low beams. This seems to be unique to the E350 as other MB models report great results on the Amazon ratings.
ao has anyone had luck getting an LED to work without error messages and with good light output on an E350 (C207) low beans? If so, what LED did you use and did you need any adapters? Thanks
