First "chilly" morning

I LOVE MY CAR!!!!

This morning, it was 59 degrees so decided to take the air scarf, etc for a spin taking my son to school. Other than the looks from other parents in the dropoff line of "why is this moron driving around with the top down when it's under 60 degrees?" it was PERFECT. Neck scarf on, heater on and even seat heaters on (understand, I'm still in shorts and a t-shirt).

A bit colder and I'll have to put a jacket or sweatshirt on, but I can sure see driving with the top own well into the fall!

CONGRATS again ... well, We'll be near Afton on Oct 7 to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway from North to South over a 3 day time frame ... hoping for 50 - 60 degree weather for that very same reason !! That's why we have Cabriolet's right ?

It gets into freezing temps all winter where I live. Two winters in a row now I have shredded a SC belt after getting into some aggressive driving just after coolant temps reached normal op temps. I now am kind thinking the SC belt needs more time to heat up before putting it under load. Rubber gets brittle when it's cold. I'm going to start waiting until intake air temps reach their normal above ambient amount to ensure the temps in the engine bay have all steadied out and nothing is too much colder than normal. - Wrong thread. Stupid forum nee thread scroll crap.
