I'm sure it probably says in the manual but I'm not one for reading the manuals much. I have been always putting my top back up when I pull the car in the garage even If I'm going to drive the car the next day. Am I doing the right thing? Or is it ok to leave the top down for a day or two and save wear and tear on it not putting it up and down so much. I'm just nervous about getting creases on the back quarter of the top on either side, I see this a lot with convertibles.

I do the same thing. Top goes down when I put the car in the garage. I have seen too many tops with creases in them. Two neighbors, one with an older BMW soft top cab and one with an Audi, leave the top down in the garage. Both tops are severely creased and look awful. I have talked to them about the issue but neither seem to care. Not really car guys. The tops on our cabs are really beautifully crafted and I would hate to risk damaging mine because of extended periods in the folded position. Just my opinion.

Ya, thats kinda what I thought, I've seen too many tops all messed up. Good advice for others too. The top goes up and down so quickly it's no big deal, I kinda like putting it up and down, lol. The other thing I'm gonna avoid is car washes, I'll do my own car wash and only clean the top once every 5 washes or so. Thankfully the car is garaged and not driven a real lot.

had that done when I bought the car plus they warranty the int and ext for 5 years. Feels like they put some kind of repellent stuff on the top. I did go through a brushless rotating high pressure wash the other day with no issues.
