Heads Up Display and CarPlay
Sorry for the flurry of threads, but didn’t see this addressed elsewhere. Does anyone know if the HUD currently or is anticipated to support CarPlay? Not sure if there’s a lot of value in having it without CarPlay support.

Have the HUD and absolutely love it. For me it was a must have.
I don't have Apple stuff but I can tell you that Android Auto doesn't pop up on it. It's not like another customizable screen you could put whatever you want on it. You can configure three areas... the left can show navigation (either your current compass direction or navigation based on the COMAND nav, not Android Auto nav), the middle is speed (with some additional indicators if cruise control is enabled), and the right is the speed limit in the area as detected by COMAND and road signs (with additional indicators if you're approaching a curve or in a school zone).
You can turn each of these on or off but cannot further customize the interface. I turn the speed limit indicator off and have the other two on all the time. To each their own, to me it's awesome. Good luck!

E400 Coupe
I have a 2018 E400 Coupe, and it doesn´t. You can only use Google maps for example, on the right screen. Neither the HUD nor the left screen get the information from the apple carplay... It´s a shame because that would be awesome if id it did.
