what can I do with my keyfob?
Good Day All-
I hope you are well.
I know I can lock and unlock. But what about starting the car from the fob can that be done? Also, how about putting the top down? Seems like I have to be within about three feet to do that? I thought it was line of site.
Anything else that can be done? The manual does not seem to highlight a lot of opportunities but maybe I just missed the extra stuff.

Assuming you're driving a E400/E450/E53, you can put the top up and down by holding the Unlock key on the Fob for down and holding the lock key for up. You need to be close to the drivers door. You can't remote start the car with the FOB but you can remote start the car with Mercedes me connect app. and see many other functions such as know the doors are locked, windows up, fuel range etc.
