Test drove a 2019 E53 AMG
It was on the way home from downtown near rush hour ... but I was able to take a few corners and hit the gas a few times.
When the hybrid engine kicked in at lower revs and speeds ... the acceleration is surprisingly quick. Dry nice.
I did experience one combination of speed and revs in which the acceleration response was flat ... like experiencing turbo lag.
Was this my imagination? Is the hybrid / turbo torque delivery seamless all the time?
