Anybody here have it?
I want to retrofit my E450 with E53 front grille, but I have no front camera option, so I need to get E53 front grille without camera opening.
I wonder do someone have E53 without front camera?

 

I’d guess that most E53s are optioned with the parking assistance package which includes the surround view system which includes the front camera. You should have what you want, of course, but my opinion is that it doesn’t matter whether you have the grill with the camera opening. It’s not actually an “opening,” just a small, clear lens behind which the front camera is held in position by a couple of screws, and barely noticeable. I’ll bet that most people don’t notice whether it’s there and, just because the lens is there, doesn’t mean that a camera has to be. Your chance of finding an E53 grill are much better if you look for one with or without this option.

i found out that E53 could be built in configurator and ordered without front view camera with no issues. I thought that the front grille will be without the hole in this case, just plain
But it appears that the car would have another type of grille in that case, diamond grille. This grille could be without camera option
I’ve seen both on E53
Anyway there is no e53 amg grilles without camera option. Now I know that.
