We did a European delivery this past April with our 2019 E450 Cabriolet 4matic. The only difference I can see on the 2019 vs. the 2020 is that the digital instrument screen is standard and not an option. We have the digital and we really like it. As far as the 4matic goes the car handles really great especially during the heavy rains we have down this way. We did stick with the AMG 18 inch non staggered wheels.

I think the value of all-wheel drive depends a lot on where you live and the type of driving you do. I leased a 1999 E320 4Matic when it was new and kept it for three years. Nice car, but the 4Matic was of absolutely no use here in Southern California, at least not on the freeways and city streets that I frequent. I have read that all-wheel drive increases acceleration, but unless you're into street racing, that's of little value in the sort of driving I describe. It may also offer a bit more stability, but again that's of marginal benefit in 99.998% of what I consider normal driving. I also wonder about the impact it has on gas mileage. That said, if you live in an area with more extreme weather or drive on mountain roads a lot, it may be worth the extra cost.
