Limp mode.
Hi,
I'm new to the forum.
I have a 2019 e220 cabriolet and recently was side swiped by a car undertaking me at speed. The result was minor bodywork damage and my nearside mirror was obliterated. I have been driving the car while awaiting my insurance company arranging repair. I have a blind spot monitor inactive warning and have noticed that my car is going into limp mode after applying heavy breaking? There are no engine management warnings and I was wondering if this issue could be as a result of the damage to the nearside mirror? The mirror lens is completely missing however, puddle light and indicator are still functioning.
