Suspecting my car was in a past accident

I purchased my 2018 coupe about two months ago. It’s purchased from MB Calabasas and it’s also a certified one as well. They did show me the car fax and it did show front and rear bumper repair and it reported as damage to the dealer and not the insurance company. The sales person said the car was brought in because the rear and front bumper had scratches and the customer wanted the repair done by the dealership. What can I look for to see if the car has been an an accident. And is it worth reaching out to the person that leased the car originally and asked them?

Or should I just let it go and I’m just overthinking?

A few easy signs there are issues:
  • Drifting when driving in a straight line with drive assist turned off
  • Weird noises when turning
  • Front of the doors are not aligned with fenders
  • Hood not aligned or even
Worse case is bring it to a shop and check the frame alignment if you believe the vehicle was misreported by both the dealer and carfax.
