E450 Coupe
Night package

I'm looking at the various options on the 2021 E 450 Coupe, including the "night package." One of the items listed in this package is "omission of dark-tinted glass." Anyone know what this means? I asked the dealer and he said he wasn't sure. This relates to my other question: Is the factory tint that comes with the car sufficient? The car will rarely be parked outside. Thanks for any insight ...

I think it's some US regulation where they have to omit it.

Each state has it on regulations on darkness of tint so MB just omitted windows tint on all US cars.

I just bought a night package car and the tinting seems average/normal. Getting it tinted soon anyway but the factory tint doesn't seem less tinted to me. Might be wrong.

Mine looks like normal tint with my Night Package.
