MBUX Issue
Got my new E53 Convertible delivered and 3 days later the MBUX crashed not working, tries to turn on with radio at mid volume but only the AMG logo comes on fails and tries to reboot and never turns on, controls do not work, many safety features off line. There is apparently an issue with the MBUX, many GLEs affected. Just FYI, requires replacement and is in back order

Head unit internal hard drive is replaceable reference bulletin LI82.85-P-071394 if applicable this may expedite repair.

I knew by the sound of hard drive that that was the problem. MB is replacing the whole unit, so upset I am getting a May ETA for unit to get to dealer for repair, MB should stop E GLE production and fix their mess, I am so frustrated.

You should request payment reimbursement from MB for the delay. Just ordered my E450 cab. Fingers crossed!
