2021 E450 - Problem with the Rear Camera
Hi all,
We purchased a 2021 E450 in March and have been having a lot of issues with the pop-out rear camera. Specifically, the camera pops out anytime the car goes below ~25 miles per hour. This means that driving in traffic, it repeatedly pops in and out as you increase or decrease your speed, and anytime you're at a stop or a light it's popped out. I haven't seen this happen on any other Mercedes coupe's or coupe-SUV's.
The dealer had my car for over 2 weeks and finally said it was fixed, but it wasn't. Just took it back in a few days ago and they called me saying it's normal behavior? Anyone else deal with this or could weigh in on what to do?

2021 E53 convertible
My 2018 E400 convertible had rear camera issues, not working 50% of the time, it took 2 years for the final fix, replacement the cables in the trunk. Had a 2020 E53 convertible loaner recently and the camera was doing the same, with a loud noise when turning the vehicle off.

Had a 2018 E400 Convertible for 8 months before MB repurchased it from us and had lots of issues with the rear camera. It was finally fixed once they replaced the entire wiring harness for the camera system.
