Hello everyone
ive searched but can’t find my answer.
‘I have a convertible e350 amg blue tech diesel 2013 model which has new facelift, registered sept 2013.
I have only just bought it and the maps are very old version 8 2013 Europe, I want to update these but not break the bank.
‘I have a sd slot so ...... can I buy an sd garmin version off eBay and put it in ? Will it work ? How is my version on my car if there is no sd card in ?
Any help re this would be very kind.

I am unsure how comparable our situation‘s are but I recently updated my 2019 US spec E450 cabriolet navigation. I am old and not up to speed on a lot of technology but the process was fairly simple. The maps actually sit on the cars hard drive but can be updated via an SD card. The US version of Mercedes Me has a page where you can select maps to download to an SD card. When I inserted that card in my car’s SD slot a screen prompt appeared and asked if I wish to download. I didn’t finish before my trip ended but the car kept track of the download and resumed it where I had left off the next time I drove off.
