I'm about to order a new E450 cab and definitely want the red/black leather seats. I'm also considering ordering it in Patagonia red and was wondering if anyone knows if the two reds are close enough to one another not to clash?

A Cabriolet with red interior and red paint is tricky. I would definitely see both colors in person before ordering. Larger dealers can have actual swatches of leather and mini painted cars. Trying to match up these colors from a website only could be a disaster. Fletcher Jones Las Vegas
I agree with Greg B. Nothing like seeing your intended selection in person if possible. The issue may be the lack of vehicles at dealerships now. For example, we ordered a new GLE450 4MATIC a few days ago with a brown-walnut interior dashboard and steering wheel trim. When my wife and I went to another dealership we saw the actual combination including the steering wheel and did not like the way it looked.. So we changed it. Good luck.

well, I ordered red with red interior. I don’t expect them to be the same color. I’m sure it will be great. If and when the car shows up, I’m sure I’ll be happy with it. Good luck finding a red car on the lot.
I fully agree with Greg B . Don't chance it without checking in person , even if you can't see the combo on one car . When I purchased my C43 cabrio , I wanted the Cranberry red interior with red exterior , but after seeing the colors in person at the last minute , changed the exterior to blue for contrast , because the two reds did not match well . My current order for an E450 cabrio is designo beige and red interior with an exterior of Rubellite red . I've seen pictures of Rubellite red with the red / black interior and it looks good because there's a contrast . Patagonia may be OK , but again try to see the actual colors because they may look a little "off" when together and you don't want to have to keep the top closed to avoid seeing them together ! The computer color rendering in the Mercedes configurator is not even close to the real thing and is very misleading .. Good Luck
