2018 E400 Coupe | 2021 Volvo XC40 Recharge
I received my MyGenius handheld last week, updated the unit, downloaded the specific Vehicle info using the MyGenius, emailed OEtuning with a file attachment containing my cars info, and they sent the tuning files, which I uploaded to the Mygenius, and then updated the car with my tune.

I have a 2018 E400 Coupe. The difference is not subtle. At light throttle it drives as before, but it’s very much quicker when driven hard. I’m really surprised at how hard it pulls. It’s a first impression, but I would guess low 4 second 0-60, 115 mph quarter, but thats only a guess from having driven even faster cars.

Definitely worthwhile.

I had some seat time to experience more than 0-60 and while its definitely a nice upgrade, it is not likely to run 115 mph quarter mile. I may give it a run when it’s a bit cooler out.

First gear in the 9 Speed automatic is nice and short, and there is a significant boost in lower end torque, so much so, that it’s a bit violent. This is in sport/sport+ that starts off in first gear.
It’s also quicker in the upper ranges but it’s just not as huge as the low end torque boost. This is similar behavior to my N55 6 cyl turbo BMW X3. The stock flow capacity of the turbo(s) are unable to efficiently provide for the combination of high boost/high RPM. Often complicated by limited flow capacity of the catalysts at the downpipes and the heat sinking capacity of the stock intercooler.
I’ve had many turbocharged cars, and have always increased boost, and rarely had complications (boost leaks, Shattered charge pipe on the BMW which happens on stock cars too). At one time, in another era, I had a used Volvo from 68,000 miles to 250,000 miles, on roughly 2x stock boost with no boost related issues, when sold it was still running fine, original automatic, not using oil.
So I’m a big proponent of the enjoying additional performance by increasing boost. If you want your turbo car ( or any car )to last, I recommend the following:

Don’t start it with your foot on the gas or cold rev it up.

Let oil ( and other lubricants ) come up to temperature before driving hard at all.

Never run it hard under boost, and then shut off the car, take 30 sec or a minute to let things cool off a bit before shutting it down. If you have a tune, think about not doing top speed runs, track days (road course), although many modern ecu’s will protect things by reducing performance.

If something is wrong, overheat, oil pressure (pull over), bad tank of gas/ not running right (drive gently).

Have some mechanical sympathy, whether tuned or not, the cost for replacement motors/transmissions/parts is pretty significant.
