If your situation allows, get the current SL AMG in RWD for the warmer months and drive the GLE plus another AWD if needed. Much prefer to power on rotate through a corner than plow through it.

As for the EQE, and the EQS, if they didn't look like melted jelly beans from the outside I might consider them. I'm keeping my 2018 coupe for a while as it's a great looking car, always get compliments. It will all but certain be my last Benz, at least for the near future given the upcoming models. If I had a 3 bay garage, I'd get the forthcoming Z with manual to go with my forthcoming toaster oven (EV) for best of both.

Anyway all my opinions and more than you asked for. Good luck!
much appreciate👌👌

As I posted before,I asked the dealer to order a 2021 E53 coupe in January........told the first order slot became available in April with a July build

Then the order went on "Yellow-Lighted" hold & switched to a 2022.

Here we are 10 months later,& the order is still not filled.Still in limbo.

@Jester1: Did you have to put down a hefty deposit for your order or just a handshake with the manager of the dealer ?

My last 2018 E-400-4M cabriolet order was in January, 2018 with a handshake with the salesman and manager( that was pre-pandemic and handshake was allowed then !)
with NO deposit She arrived by boat/train in end of April, 2021.

Would the dealer honour the same price you pay for the 2021 towards a 2022 model ......LOL ?

When do you expect to receive your 2022 car ?

Good luck !

Handshake only.

Not looking for anything below 2022 model list price.

As of last contact months ago, the earliest was November.

Now I wouldn't be surprised if it goes into next year.

I just hope the order isn't just cancelled by Mercedes.

I hope you get one. We are loving ours. It’s an incredibly fun and refined ride. I’m thinking we just barely avoided all the supply chain issues, as our 2021 was delivered in April.
