I hope you are great.

I was curious if any of you had hard suitcase or other recommendations for luggage to go under the top area in the trunk of the cabriolet? My wife and I just got back from a 4800 mile trip and I had brought my Briggs and Riley carry on and it seemed to be just a little high and the top would not go down. If I took it out then it would open and I could then put the bag in.

Ideally I would like to find two bags that could easily fit under so I could put the top up and down with no issues.

Any thoughts? The car is a 2019 E450

I had a similar question. Seems like @aea6574 did not get an answer. 😕

I have recently discovered a few websites where one can buy bags or luggage tailored for cabriolets (and others) that are guaranteed to fit whether the top is up or down.
Neat. 🙂
The problem is that those sites are Europeans and ordering/shipping might be a bit tricky. Or just expensive. 💁‍♂️

Are there such vendors in the US/Canada?

I am able to get two carry golf bags in the trunk with the top down but needed at least one to have a narrower bottom (foot) to slide under the trunk limiter.
Measure your space under the limiter and go measure luggage

Yes @Pennetta that’s plan B but it is unlikely to give as good results as the luggage that are designed to fit exactly in the trunk and under the trunk limiter. 💁‍♂️
