2022 E450C Arrived - HUD Question

I ordered a 2022 coupe back in February, and put it out of mind, figuring it would come around November. Last weekend - out of the blue - our dealer emailed me a photo of it sitting in his service shop. Whoa! Nice surprise. I did a quick/easy CarMax sale of my 2019 coupe for a welcome profit (over residual buyout), and picked up the new car yesterday. It came exactly as ordered, no options affected by shortages. My 2019 had no HUD. Because I love the HUD on my wife's Lexus, I wanted it on my new E450. But so far I'm puzzled by the difference between the two. The Lexus HUD projects much bigger and easier-to-read. The MB HUD looks tiny, dim, and here's the kicker -- polarized sunglasses render it invisible. WTF?! Maybe I'm missing something. I'll fiddle with it again today - as I gain familiarity with the new controls - to see if I can change its position, and somehow make it bigger and/or brighter. Any suggestions on how to maximize its visibility would be welcome. Thanks!

As Roseanne Roseannadanna was wont to say, "Never mind!" Figured out how to brighten and reposition the readout. Much better now. It still disappears if I put on polarized shades, which seems kinda -- what's the word? -- loony. Looks like I'll have to spring for non-polarized Ray-Bans to take full advantage of my $1100 option. Think Stuttgart would cover the cost? :-)

Drive with your head cocked 10-15 degrees, HUD will be clear as a bell.

Thanks, Mikey. Makes sense if polarization works on sunglasses anything like how it works on camera-lens polarizers. So I'll give it a try, but it sounds uncomfortable. At my age, I might get stuck in that position, doze off, or tumble into the passenger seat.
