E450 Coupe Exhaust Question

I just found out that the completion date for my E450 Coupe is October 11, so it should be here around week 1 or 2 November if all goes well (yes, I'm aware that things can go very wrong...I'm being optimistic). I will be ordering the E53 Diffuser and Exhaust tips because the fake ones that are stock look hideous. And fake exhaust tips are just cheesy. Come on Mercedes! What I'd like to know is if the stock mufflers are valved like the E53? I was watching a YouTube video where the sound actually had some volume to it, and I'd like some sort of growl to go with my car. I realize it won't be an AMG sound, but I'd just like to know the car is there.

Any help is appreciated!

For my ears, putting the car in Sport+ mode produces a sound that I think is about as much growl as I want from a luxury cabriolet. I think it gives a sporty enough sound and personality to the car.

Thanks, but that's not really what I was asking. I'd like to know if the mufflers have valves in them. Reason being that if they are just plain old mufflers, I'd have no problem changing them out for something with slightly more "bark". If they are valved, I really would prefer not to tinker with a setup that negates some inner working of the car. I know a lot of guys have no problem with that, and that's fine...I used to be like that as well. But I'm at a point where I'm kinda careful about messing with a car's inner workings.

Sorry, don't know how the change in exhaust tone is achieved. It does remind me of sport cars I have owned that would bypass parts of the exhaust system with a valve.
