Well I did it.. upgraded my steering wheel. With the exception of cruise control and lane assist distronic plus All buttons and touch pad works as normal.. those other functionalities only work via the stock lever
Hi there 👋 Quick question regarding the additional buttons such as the favourites shortcut and distronic/speedtronic buttons that duplicate the functionality on the stalk, did this require any additional programming? Or, were the additional buttons plug and play?

you will need a decoder box in order for the buttons touchpad ect to work

Thanks. All functionalities that were compatible with the original steering wheel works. As far as lane assist or distronic those are controlled by the leftside stalks levers

I would like to say, your job is half way done only. You can make all the buttons on the wheel working perfectly like it should.
I am glad you ae happy with the change. You did a very nice job. However, I wish I had the older style steering wheel. I find the touch controls difficult to use. I much prefer the older more analog controls. I must say the touch steering wheel does have a much cleaner look.

Hello where did you find the center wood trim to match I have the glossy black center and I was looking for the light brown that you have ? maybe a part number ? or any info would helpful.
