Just wondering if anyone besides me thought their low beam headlights on a new E450 were aimed too low? I owned a 2014 E350 cab whose headlights were aimed so low I could hardly see to get out of my driveway. I raised those headlights. Last night I did the same for our MY22 E450 cab. What a difference! I am happy with them now as they seem like truly intelligent headlights. Turns are illuminated much better and the side of the road is much more visible. I drove around a bit and didn't have any cars flash me. So perhaps I haven't raised them too high. If I start getting flashed I will lower them a bit.
Don't know what standard they used to set these headlights but it didn't work too well on my Tennessee back roads.

How did you raise them? Mine do feel too low indeed. Also I've seen a discussion about some software improvement of the headlights, kinda making the full beam adjust itself not to blind the upcoming traffic, and can be used all the time without having to switch it off every time, which is annoying of curse.
There are two adjustment screws, one on each side. They are adjustable with an allen wrench or a phillips head screwdriver. The allen wrench (hex wrench) worked best for me. You can recognize them as you look through the allen head slot and the phillips head screws are beneath . They appear to be black plastic Mine turned counter clockwise to raise and clockwise to lower. They are somewhat recessed .I aimed the headlights on my garage door to watch them raise.
I have seen the discussion about software modifications. More or less to allow the full range the headlights are allowed in Europe. Don't have any access to that technology but I am well pleased with the change my manual adjustment made.
