Convertible top troubleshooting
I noticed my top wouldn't go up but the roof partition would open. So I manually closed it, the roof now will not come down. It shows on the display that it is trying to lift the back up and but nothing happens.

Is there any information regarding troubleshooting of the convertible roof?

Check you tube. There are some videos on there about various roof issues. Most arrive at the dreaded strings that are in the roof and help it fold correctly. If they are broken or stretched it causes issues with the fold and then sensor switches.

we have had our 18’ cab in twice for the roof. First a sensor switch then the cords.

I think it is the tonneau cover limit switch if anyone has a part number it'd be appreciated

FYI new Mercedes CLE will serve as a replacement for the coupe and cabriolet variants of both the C-Class and E-Class.

I inquired because my son has taken delivery of a 2023 E CLASS cabrio. Not positive of the proper model,so many of them,but I know it has the straight 6 engine & cost
$100,000. I would think that there is a forum for it.

This the the correct forum for the 2023 E 450 cabriolet. If it is an AMG, then the AMG threads may be helpful.
