Boot/ trunk won’t close, latch failed!

Boot/ trunk won’t close, latch failed!
Hi all, looking for some help to diagnose a problem and suggest part number for an A238 boot latch mechanism.
After giving the car a good wash today, I started on the interior clean and dropped the roof to make cleaning easier. Opened the boot to give it a vacuum and now the boot lid will not latch at all. Tried some WD40 on the mechanism but nothing. With the boot still open I can’t close the roof and rain is coming.
Luckily a local garage opened the shop so I could leave the car under shelter overnight. 🙏🏽 very kind of them being a Sunday.
Question 1 - does anyone know the part number for the latch mechanism or where I can find it?
Question 2 - is there a way to manually put the roof back up?
