Hey folks, considering buying a 2018 E400 Cabrio with 35k miles on it. Any common issue I should be wary of. The car has two slight surface tears in the roof fabric but they don't seem deep enough to let water in.

Highest item: lift the roof halfway then get out and look at the cords inside. If any are frayed then make them fix it before you buy. Otherwise, pretty standard stuff applies.

My wife has a 2018 E400 with 36K miles. Great cars and the motor is pretty much bulletproof. The top is the gotcha, as Grant mentioned above, check the cords that support the headliner. I had this issue with mine under warranty and it has held up fine since the replacement of all the cords. Dealer told me it is a 10K job out of warranty!
