Rear light fade not working

E300 Coupe (C238)
Rear light fade not working
Hi guys,

I have the stardust rear lights which sort of fade up and down brightness when you lock/unlock the vehicle and they have like a curtain effect when they come on however the right hand side boot lid section of the rear light is just coming on full brightness and doesn’t do the effect at all. I have attached videos for reference. Has anyone experienced this before or has any suggestions on how to rectify this?
