I have a 2023 E450 cabriolet, recently purchased as a CPO. When I lower the roof, all the windows go down, as you'd expect. However, when I raise the roof, the windows do not go up at the end of the process. Instead, I have to use the switch that operates all windows at once to raise them as "Step 2" in the process.
Is this the way it is supposed to work? Seems to me the windows should go up once the roof is fully raised, automatically, as I hold the roof switch.

That's the way mine works. No big deal to raise the window. When raising the roof I don't always want the windows up too.

I hear you, my old BMW 430i was able to do that, it is very convenient. It was nice to just hit one button and your top/windows are closed. Sadly, I haven't seen a way to change that behavior with with my E450.

 

What you could do is use the summer convenience opening and closing feature pretty much all MBs have by pressing and holding the unlock/lock button outside the vehicle on the keyfob until it has completed.
