The '76 240D I just purchased a week ago has two sets of horns, two electric disk-type low down in the engine compartment near the bumper, and then two red air horns mounted to the passenger side of the engine compartment. It seems like just the air horns work. I've heard of the Alpine horn, but if I had that, wouldn't there be a changeover switch in the car? Is the air horn setup a factory thing?

I think the air horns are installed later not factory ones.
