Question W115 220D MANUAL SHIFT MECHANISM

I am replacing all the bushing etc in the manual shifter mechanism on my 1972 220D. Unfortunately...and I just knew it would happen....the horizontal shift rod that slides through all the linkage arms and various washers came out suddenly and washers etc went flying...!!

Does anyone know the sequence of assembly...which washers go first.

I know which selector linkages are for 1/2 3/4 and reverse, and I have the new cup bushing in place. Just not sure if the spacer washer is next, or the spring washer then the spacer etc...!

Thanks to anyone for info..
Rick
