New A/C rattle - With VIDEO - Help W123.133

Greetings my dieselbenz brethern,

W123.133 - 1982 300dD-Turbo

So I bought a new AC Compressor, Dryer and Evaporator. I installed them all, and all was well.

I used this guide http://dieselgiant.com/repairyourac.htm

Eveything went well except when installing the AC Compressor, lots of the synthetic Esther oil leaked out. I couldn't get the bolts on fast enough. I don't know how they expect you to keep it all in there when installing it, when you have to tip it on it's side to install it. Anyways. I turned on the A/C with no refridgerent in there for a few seconds, and all sounded well, (to see if any belts rubbed, etc.) Then I put in a can of R12 "equivilent" and then ran it for a bit, and all was well. Bubbled checked out in the new Dryer, all was well. I then tried it again and then all of the sudden I get that terrible sound. Here is the video, (useless) except the AUDIO is what I want you to listen to.

At time point 6 seconds, I turn on the AC and you can hear the rattle (kinda, it's a mercedes diesel, right?) at time point 12 seconds, I turn it off. Notice the difference. When it's on, it sounds like a bunch of rocks are rattling inside it or metal on metal sound, NOT GOOD. So I dare not to use it until I figure out what's up.

So... what's up? What did I do wrong? I did put some Esther oil in the Dryer as well, as directed from DieselGiant.

A noisy compressor is a bad compressor - bad bearings inside. Sounds like you need to get another one. Did you buy a good compressor or a cheap one?
