E-Class (W123) 1976-1986: 240D, 280E, 300D, 300TD, 300CD

I cannot confirm full service-Pls help

Exclamation I cannot confirm full service-Pls help

I have an E220 cdi 2004 model and
I am trying to confirm Full service so that the message that I exceded service B by ... goes away
I did the Procedure
service menu
full service
confirm

but at the end I get the message

SErvice not confired

At the Addit. items menu I confirmed from item 1 to 12
I dont know what that is but I did it

No idea if this actually works because the op didn't say whether it worked or not

1) get in vehicle and close all doors
2) put key in ignition and turn to position 1
3) make sure your screen is on the mileage or temp( if you had to move to get to this screen then take key out and cycle back to position 1)
4) press the reset button 5 times repeatedly( you will hear a chime if you did it right)
you should now have a screen that shows your voltage
5) use the arrow key on steering wheel to scroll down one page
6) use the volume key to scroll down to "service confirmation"
7) press the page back button once to accept and one more time to reset
8) cycle the key again, your service counter should reset
