Also got one of these old *******s or better said my superstar!
Just bought a '82 230E in sahara yellow, rust isn't a big thing since the car wasn't out in the rain alot,( ;-) not a common weather condition in kuwait). otherwise these cars are very often in a very bad condition, since the repairs and maintanance are not carried out well. i was lucky and got one without accident... but of course it needs a lot of work.
the car was very dirty and had some fancy mods. Dismanteled the interieur and gave her a propper clean up.
decided to install a 560 engine, therefore i moved the battery to the trunk, made a new, according to factory standards, wiring harness for the ac.
will also remove all the dents on her body one after the other and finally give her a propper paint job in crystal palladium grey.
