1983 300d Transmission
Hey guys i'm new to the forum. I just got hands on a 1983 300d and am having transmission issues. The guy i bought it from said the engine was swapped from a newer model like an 85 he thought. when i got home i went to try to fix the odometer and realized there is no place for the cable to go! It looks like it has an electronic speed sensor. So, does anyone know if i can swap the tailshaft or something like that so i have a speedo? I dont know much about mercedes so i am looking for some help. any insight would be great!
