How can I find the parts number on my Mercedes radiator?

In order to get a replacement, I need the original Mercedes parts number of my radiator - the OEM number.

I can't find it.

Where on a Mercedes radiator can I find the parts number?

I don't know where the original part# is located, I never needed it when ordering a radiator. Where are you getting the radiator from? I've ordered plenty of radiators for all kind of vehicles and never needed the original part number. The mb dealer would want your vin# and an autoparts store would need the year and make. Partsgeek, autohausaz, advancedautoparts, autozone just to name a few places that should all carry the radiator for your car. Good luck

Just saw your other post. Non turbo german market, now I see why your having a hard time finding a replacement. I would try ordering a radiator for a 1977-80 300d they did not come with turbos in those years. Good luck

I ordered a Behr radiator from autopartswarehouse, providing my VIN number.

It's on its way, and I'm sacrificing a drop of motor oil to the god of car parts that it's the right one.

W123 Parts

Good Day, although my log on name would suggest that I own a C43, I also have a W123. I have always used German Star to locate part numbers for my car. Your particular question in regard to your post can be found here. They don't always have the best prices, but I can use the part number for searches on autohausaz or other sites.

Hope this helps in the event you don't get the right part.

Scott
