Speedometer cable replacement
Yes, I'm a newbie - but have been a long time lurker! Finally pulled the trigger to go official!
Need to replace the speedo cable in my '82 300TDT. At the dash - no problem. However, at the tranny, I can't seem to get it to come out. Appears to be a cinch bolt clamping that end. Removed the bolt and won't come out. Do I need to pry in there to release it, like a battery cable end that is stuck on?
Thanks in advance of any tips offered by any and all the knowlegable members here! I expect to be participating here a lot in the coming months as I'm now aquiring my first /8!
