Essential Vacuum Hoses
Hi all,
New to the 240D world. I have a 77' 240D with 250K on it. AC has been removed, door locks do not work. Not that I care. I am the only driver.
Car does run on when shut off. The vacuum line to shut off valve goes through the firewall. A bunch of vacuum lines are just hanging there coming out of the firewall. The climate control does move from defrost to floor. I think vacuum controls these also?
Which vacuum lines are essential to the operation of the car and not just accessories?

Thanks! I connected both browns to vacuum and the car will shut off normally. But then after 1 restart it will not shutoff again until I undo the vacuum lines.
I am assuming the brown line to the shutoff is holding vacuum when it should be released somehow?
I found some vacuum check valves hanging out by themselves under the hood.
Do one of these need to be in-line to that?
