Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums.
I was considering buying a w123, but have noticed that there are rectangular type headlights and circular type headlights.
If I buy one with the rectangular type headlights, would it be possible to change them to the circular ones?

The rectangular headlights are the European market headlights, and the round headlights are the US market headlights.
Many people in the US like to convert to the European headlights to give the car a different look.
The headlights can be changed out though, so you can run whichever lights you would like in the car you buy.

I have a set of USED ROUND Euro lights WITH Vacuum control...clips and plugs/wire ends...one lens has a rock chip that has been filled...easily replaced.

I believe the plugs are different.
Some folks have converted to Euro lights, aesthetics, really.
The old Euro, round with vacuum hight adjustments need a dash switch too.
What year car do you have?
