Checked My 240D I just bought
I am glad I did too. only had 3 quarts of black,black oil, the air cleaner was as black as the oil 
.
On the good side though I went to Napa and they had a new Mann filter and a air filter in stock
The steering system has no play in the Idler and tie rods so that is good. The fuel filters look nice and clean so I may have got lucky!
The windshield washer res leaks where the pump goes through the grommet,
Does anyone have a Mod for this or is just replace the grommet and that works?
