MercedesBenz 280e Kilometers Question
Hello people.
I am about to buy a 280e, 1981 (I believe) in pristine condition with everything intact. No rust as far as I can see, internal all clean and neat, Paint is fresh red no cracking, 160,000 km on dash. Would you say this is a good deal for $5000-6000? The seller is a customer of my shop in Australia and he is a Mechanic. Think it is a good idea? Any tips to check first?

Well i don't know prices in your country but i once saw some 280e 's for sale here at arround 2000 euro's they had a bit rust but noting very bad also the km where around 140 000 km. But then again here the petrol is pretty expensive and diesel prices are a bit lower so people often buy a diesel.
If its in great shape and your petrolprices / taxes are not to high on it 5k $ seems like a good price but keep in mind I don't know how rare these cars are in your country so its hard to compare.
