Hello looking to restore my fathers 83 240D
hey everyone I got a 83 240D which was my fathers and I want to restore her to new again. looking for some advise on the best places to get parts, and I would really like to know has anyone put a 6 cylinder turbo diesel in one and what was involved. I great appreciate any and all advise and will put post up as a start the restoration.

depending on the condition of the car don't swap the engine start with restoring it its a great amount of work ! Looking at your post you don't look that motivated (no offence) but restoring a car takes allot of time and effort unless its in a great shape.
