Convertible 300CD?

Has anyone ever seen a 300CD (W123) with a convertible (sort of along the lines of a Lancia Zagato)?
It was made for MB only in Ney York and California.
The top is not your standard soft top but more like a frameless top with snaps that fit over the outside window frame.
Would post a picture but I have not found one. But I have now.

Thanks

That is somebody's backyard hackjob, no professional company would produce crap like that.

There's a decent looking 280CE in (IIRC) Altadena, Ca. (might be Pasadena) that's one of the original full convertible conversions, they dragged it to my buddy's indie M-B shop and balked at $pending any $ to make it run after sitting for years .

It must be garaged as it's in VGC from the looks of it .
