1984 300d turbodiesel
new 300d need help!
I am a new member and just bought a 1984 300d turbodiesel. I have yet to start it, It looks like its wearing the wrong air cleaner and missing some hoses. I need to find a parts diagram that shows the correct items I need.
Where do I find a parts diagram that is correct for my car. Is it bad to start the car missing some of the hoses? Already having a little buyers remorse.

Oil, water, vacuum or fuel hoses?
Look it over carefully. I'm sure you will figure out whether of not it is safe.
Oil hose: unsafe
Water hose: unsafe
vacuum: Safe, if it starts at all
Fuel: probably won't start

A California Emissions model will be different from the rest of the world. The air cleaner is normally tucked right up next to the valve cover. On a california model, the air cleaner is a much deeper can placed just behind the right hand headlight (passenger side in the USA)
