valve stem ?
I recently had to replace a valve stem on my '81 240 d with alloy wheels. First just as a matter of interest, has anyone had the threads on the inside of the stem that hold the valve core in place get stripped out? Anyway it seems not all stems will work. The tire shop put a rubber one in and it leaks. What stem do I need for this rim? I found MB ones on line for about $50 each which is absurd. What after market stems will fit bundt style rims?
