For the life of me I can't find the oil filter housing, nor the appropriate oil filter.
The closest thing I can see to an oil filter is in the third image, plumbing off the oil cooler.

Sure that's not a W115? Look underneath the engine.

It's definitely a w123 chassis. I wouldn't put it past being an older engine. The front of the block says 617 016 03 04 below that there's a 75 if that helps. Also the third picture is below the fuel filter next to the drivers side wheel well.

I found the engine i.d tag, barely a rust stain as is, but I could make out 617 910. I guess that means the engine is from a w115.

If so, your oil filter canister is under the engine. Get down and look. A change consists of removing the center bolt and letting the hot oil run across your chest and into your armpit.
